Business Education
Mrs. Conlin teaches Introduction to Business, Applied Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, Dual Credit Entrepreneurship, and Dual Credit Office Professional Topics. Intro and Applied Business is personal finance with a scope on how personal decisions affect business and the economy. Marketing helps students discover how a product or service goes from an idea to production to the final customer. Entrepreneurship shows students how to start their own business. Office Professional Topics will focus on office job skills. Each course takes a hands on approach and brings in real (current) business and economic situations to show students the importance of the topics and how they can apply what they learn.
Employability Skills
Career and Technical Education in partnership with Education for Employment will be evaluating students on employability skills. We will use the rubric found here as we help each student become more confident and experienced in using these skills.
